First Time In Utah.

The first time I left California to go to Utah was a great experience to me. I was so used to breathing the air in LA that I could really tell a difference from the LA smog and Utah’s desert land. Everything in sight was nothing but rocky terrain. You can even see the heat wave arise from the land. I thought California got hot, but as soon as you step into this other place you just wanted to crack an egg on a rock and watch it sizzle. During the night it as there was no heat whatsoever, it felt like a night in December but in the summer. Despise the weather, the scenery was outstanding, all around there was great, tall, giant mountains right next to the whole town. Cruising through the town you’re able to see may things that you would not be able to see in an urban city like Los Angeles.  I was stopped by a particular store in the middle of nowhere, a store of the cultures of Native Americans. Everything caught me in a state of awe like a child going into his first toy store; you just want to have everything. I wanted to know what all the utilities mean to the Native Americans. Utah is a place I will soon be visiting again without a doubt.

Google Glasses!

Google glasses, what are they? Are they necessary to us? Are they going to be essential to our lives?
Google glasses are a whole computer right in front of your eyes. Everything you want access to will be in a pair of glasses.  I would like to try them to see how useful they are in our everyday lives. I personally believe that these glasses may and will make humans lazier than what they already are. Humans are the laziest creatures alive and when everything they need is handed to them they are pleased by it and don’t try to achieve more of it. Yes, this device might make people want to go explore more in the world, but with these glasses that can make anything appear right before your eyes. There will be no use for traveling to places. Technology is making such a big process and it’s going pretty fast with it. These glasses don’t look so bearable against anything they will easily break when a hand with a hard grasp reaches out for them.  I believe these glasses will be bad for one’s eye if used daily. Yes this is a great invention but is it healthy for us?

The Younger Generation

There have been so many things on my mind recently that I really can’t choose one topic to talk about. As days have passed by I have noticed many things in the streets especially among young “innocent” children around the tender age of 12-13. These kids have been influenced by the older crowd. It has become a much easier access for young children to obtain drugs. When I was younger I really did not know the names or effects of these substances. I was home all the time watching cartoons and hoping I get a great video game to play. Kids nowadays try to mature more. They are young they should enjoy their childhood because when they are older they will surely wish they were young again.
You are only young once; kids should take advantage of that and just be kids. They should stick with their crayons and coloring books instead of older people trying to get pleasure from drugs and sex. I personally know young kids who have had sexual intercourse at such a young age. Yes I do believe it’s wrong for kids that young to get involved with sex. Each younger generation tries to mature much more than the previous one. Society has a big part on this; it drives young children into peer pressure.

Police Information Leaked

Who does the internet belong to? Should we be limited on what we are capable to do through a network? The internet belongs to the people of the world and no we should not be limited. The U.S government has tried to censor and limit the things that we can see and do on the internet. A group of hackers called “CabinCr3w” leaked information of more than 100 hundred police officers from the database of the Los Angeles County Police Canine Association (LACPCA) website. The LACPCA, an organization that promotes the welfare and safety of canine law enforcement teams that also represent Whittier, Los Angeles, South Gate, Palos Verdes and El Monte has been hacked by this crew. They wanted to show how weak government and official websites are.” Along with the names, email addresses and phone numbers included in the leak, the hackers claim they also have their hands on more than 15,000 police warrants, hundreds of thousands of court summons, information on confidential narcotics informants and thousands of police reports.” As said in an article by Matt Liebowitz. If the government wants to limit the people of their capabilities, there is a possibility that hackers might gain control over the internet and leak more confidential information about the government.  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46480682/ns/technology_and_science-security/#.T0UfScjgcTA

Health Issues

On Wednesday morning, my computer class had a guest speaker. The guest speaker came into the class to inform us and make us aware of the consequences of bad health. All the information he gave us was very shocking. What most got my attention was when he started talking about the surgery you had to go through when you have a heart attack due to high cholesterol. A surgical by-pass looks very hurtful and I personally would not like at all for some doctors to open my chest and connect my heart into a machine, and then they are also going to open up your leg to get an artery to place into your heart. That, to me, does not sound so great. I may seek to watch it on TV for entertainment, but I would surely not want to be the patient in that position. It really opened my eyes, I’m going to slightly change the way I eat. I won’t do a complete change because it’s difficult but I will do it in a working process.   I also learned that drinking healthy juices can improve your health very drastically. Pills and other prescribed drugs are worse than healthy, natural juices

"Musical Blog"

There was once a boy who loved music. He likes any kind of music. Rock, rap, alternative. He especially liked to dance to hip hop music. For example;break dancing. One day he was dancing to his songs and he accidentally hit a cat while doing a flip.He then got up and said "sorry little cute kitty". Out of no where he began to rap, he began to feel the vibe. He started rapping then he hit a dog and then he got up and said "sorry puppy", than he began to dance and rap and he hit a cow, "sorry cow" so he decided to rap to the all the animals. They animals forgave him and decided to dance together and rap together. But everyone thought he was one cray kid for rapping and dancing to the animals. He thought he doing good with the animals , connecting to them, but in reality he was just making the animals worst. The animals went all crazy and hated him, they all just wanted to attack the living hell out of him. So one afternoon that the kid went to the Zoo, to rap to the animals but all of sudden after he turned a corner all the animals of the zoo where waiting for him. The kid said "Hey guys!" and all the animals ran to him and he said "Now now no need to rush to come say hi me guys." but the animals weren't rushing at him because they were happy to see them but they were rushing at him to destroy him. At the end of the day the zoo keepers were talking to each other. One of them said "How come every animals has a piece of clothes on them" and then they heard the ghost of the rapping boy in the distance...
